YOUR ULTIMATE PARTY BAND FOR ANY OCCASION!
John Daly

Lead and Rhythm Guitar and very occasional vocals (of a sort)

John has been playing guitar since he had hair  in other words, for quite a
long time. Early musical heroes were The Beatles. Current heroes are still
The Beatles.

BANDS (Past n' Present)

Brain Damage (finished second at our high school talent showcase to a disco
dance troupe, even after we brought the crowd to its feet with our feedback
punk epic of Willowdale alienation, Burn Down Your High School)

Go! Bimbo Go! (Canada¹s Premier Ethno-Surf Band, now in its third decade!)

North of South (Recorded an album¹s-worth of material in my one-bedroom
apartment)

Gravy (which became mband when we ripped off a Bank of Montreal logo‹³Can a
band change?²‹which became the X-Band after the drummer weenied out because
his ad agency did work for the bank)

The Jerome Godboo Band (The Jimi Hendrix of harmonica, and still my good pal
who lets me play with Canada¹s best blues musicians. Prince caught our act
one night in 2002 at Blues on Bellair in Yorkville. I loaned him my guitar
for a couple of tunes. The strap was too long for him)

The Sean and Suzie Band (As in my super-talented singer-songwriter-guitarist
pal Sean Cotton and rawkin¹ Suzie McNeil of Rockstar INXS fame. This band
didn¹t catch on like we thought it might‹maybe partly because we debuted on
Sept. 11, 2001 and literally no audience showed up)

The Bottle Devils (Fronted by my master-classic-rock-guitarist pal Gus
Papas)

James Doolin and the Mob (11 pieces‹chicks, horns, the works‹and still
smokin¹ the Niagara Region, even without me)

The Doubts and the Double Dees (one is the Good Twin and one is the Evil
Twin, but I don¹t know which is which)

John loves his wah-wah pedal because it goes wacka-wacka-wacka and women
dance.
